WILDCRAFTED ST. JOHN'S WORT FROM OUR ORGANIC FAMILY FARM, HAND HARVESTED & INFUSED INTO ORGANIC EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL.
We love the deep red color extracted from this plant, which is an indicator of the high quality of the herb / tincture. Used topically, this oil is wonderful for soothing joint, muscle and nerve pain. It is also known to ease the pain of sunburn, burns, shingles, scrapes and bruises.
Some of our personal favorite uses are massaging into sore muscles; before-bed foot massages to help promote deep sleep, and as a staple in our skincare routine as a moisturizer. St. John's Wort Oil is known to contain natural SPFs that prevent sun damage to the skin and also soothes and supports the skin in healing from sunburn or sun damage.
I personally use St. Johns Wort on my face daily, mixing it with a few spritzes of rosewater in my hands and applying all over the face, and finishing with another spritz of rosewater. I noticed that old, red acne scars on my face started to lighten up immediately and my sensitive skin started to have less breakouts once I started using this. St. John's Wort is also anti-viral & anti bacterial, so a dab on a breakout can help it to clear up & heal quickly with no scarring. My tween daughter has also adopted this practice, which helps her extremely sensitive skin to quickly clear up when she has eaten something that causes a facial rash or blemishes.
Additionally, we use St. John's Wort oil for earaches / ear infections, as the antiviral and cooling properties help to ease inflammation, fight viruses and bacteria, and the olive oil helps to soften earwax so that it can remove itself.
